On 20th May we set off on our first holiday together. We had to buy a roof
box to fit all our luggage in the car! We were off to Scotland to visit
the Taylor and Atter clans and then spend a week in a remote cottage by
ourselves. We spent our first night seeing friends in Blackpool and spent
the night in a lovely hotel in St Annes.. Our next stop was to see Uncle
Colin and Auntie Margaret in Kelso.. |
| It was lovely to see them and we also got to see cousin Kathryn and her
two girls, Lauren and Katie. Cousin Jacqueline also popped over in the
evening. Unfortunately we didn't see her boys as they had chicken pox.

The next day we went to see Elizabeth and Wilf for lunch. Just a short
drive to Hawick. Elizabeth had dug out some old photos of the family which
were great to see. Time flew by and before we knew it we had to be on the
road again. |
| Next stop, Grandad and Margaret's in Kilmarnock. Hannah was coping really well with the travelling, but we were all glad we were staying a couple of nights there. |

It was great to see Grandad and Margaret and Hannah was introduced to her
first dogs too - no worries ! |
| We then went to see my old Uni friend Cate and her partner Denis. They
had just moved into a great house in Glasgow. |

Then last but not least it was off to Inverness to see Marion and Peter.
We stayed in and had a huge chinese take away. Unfortunately it was a short
visit but lovely to see them both. . |
